How to install (30 seconds)
- Pop the lens / housing cover. Most interior lights have a removable lens — pry gently with a fingernail or trim tool. License plate housings usually unscrew from inside the trunk.
- Pull the old bulb straight out. T10 bulbs are wedge base — no twisting required, just a firm straight pull.
- Insert the Driveon LED. LEDs are polarity-sensitive. If it doesn't light, pull it out, rotate 180°, and push back in.
- Test and replace the cover. Turn on the light to verify, snap the lens back in. Total time: about 30 seconds per bulb.

Are T10, 194, 168, W5W, and 2825 all the same bulb?
Yes — they all refer to the same physical wedge-base bulb. T10 is the bulb-shape designation, 194/168/W5W/2825 are interchangeable part numbers used by different manufacturers and OEMs. Our Driveon LED replaces all of them 1:1.
Will these cause dashboard "bulb out" warnings?
No. Driveon T10 LEDs include built-in CANBUS resistance, so they don't trigger "bulb out" warnings on cars that monitor interior or license plate circuits (most 2010+ vehicles).
My LED doesn't light up — defective?
Almost always polarity. T10 LEDs only light one way. Pull the bulb out, flip 180°, push it back in. If still no light after flipping, then check our 30-day money back.
How long do they last?
Driveon T10 LEDs are rated 30,000+ hours — over 30× longer than the halogen bulb they replace. At typical interior-light usage (a few minutes per day), they'll outlast your car.
Do I need a different bulb for license plate vs dome?
No — same physical T10 bulb fits all standard interior positions. The differences are in COLOR choice (white for OEM, amber/red/etc for custom) and whether the position is legal for that color (license plate requires white in most US states).
